The Zerbert king and other things...
So I think Bill Cosby named the noise kids make (Some call them rasberries) a zerbert. If I were to spell the sound I think it would look like this... thblblblblblblblblblzblzblzblzblzblzblzbzb. Or something like that.
So Cade is officially the zerbert king. He makes those rasberry sounds all day long. I think he thinks it is apart of our English language. He is probably trying to say, "Hey mom, would you get back over here, and pick me up, I am tired of this stupid bouncy seat" But it really just comes up thblblblsblslblxblblblblblzblzblzbzlbzl. and then when I don't answer, he does it louder...THBLLBZLBLBLBLBLBLBLBL. Poor thing, I just pretend I don't understand.
Bobby is out of town right now for an entire week. I have made it through 1 and 1/2 days of this adventure pretty well I would say. But I still have a long way to go. SO anyone who is reading this between Sept. 7th and September 13th say a prayer for me. I need it.
Luke and Mattie both started Pre-school last week, and this is going to be a JOY! God bless the pre-school concept, and thank you Jesus for allowing us to be able to send both Luke and Mattie.
Alright for now. I will write again later.

MUD PUDDLES!
I must have been crazy this day, but look at how much fun these kids had in the mud!
The clean up wasn't as bad as you might have guessed from this video. I just stripped them down naked outside, and sprayed them with the hose. They may have had more fun getting clean than they did dirty. That would be a first. Poor Baby Cade slept through all the fun.

Our recent trip to Tampa!
From Memorial Day through Mid-June we packed up our kids and went home to Tampa to see our dear family and friends. Some of them probably you all. Funny enough three weeks still was not enough time to visit everyone we wanted to see. Nor did we feel like we got to spend enough time with those of you we were fortunate to get together with. We will just have to plan another trip down there soon!
After spending a few days with family, we headed down to Anna Maria Island to the Solomon family beach house for a little fun in the sun! My good friend Megan was able to join us with little baby (not so little) Joseph pictured in the top pic with Mattie. We swam in the pool, and played on the beach, and had a blast! Luke discovered a pretty cool rock in the ocean, which we spent hours playing with. Hhhmmmmm...expensive toys, or free rock from the ocean? Of course he finds the rock more entertaining.
After leaving the beach, Bobby and his mom and sister took Luke and Mattie to Disney for a couple of days. They had a blast riding all the rides, and swimming in the pool at the hotel. Katie stayed in Tampa with Baby Cade and had some special time with her Dad.
We also baptized baby Cade while we were in Tampa. On June 10th, his Ma Mere's birthday he was baptized by his Granddad. Even though my mom was not there in person. We all know she was looking down from heaven to see this glorious occasion.
See how excited Cade was on the morning before he is going to be Baptized.
What a fabulous day!
This is Cade's Godmother, Aunt Missy!
Yahoo for being Baptized! It is official now. Thank you Granddad!
All in all it was a great visit, and it was so good to be at home back in the beautiful sweltering humidity of Tampa. We made it back to Charlotte, and now we are enjoying getting more adjusted to life here. We have been swimming in our neighborhood pool, and playing with all our toys that we missed during our vacation. That will be all for this post! We will post more later!
